Program Options
Option II: Three-Month Clinical Mentorship plus Six-Month Advanced Clinical Fellowship
The three-month Mentorship is designed as a stepping stone to the six-month Advanced Fellowship. Learn advanced clinical reasoning concepts and advanced manual therapy examination and treatment. Attain the high-level skills necessary to become a PT primary care provider, clinical specialist and/or consultant in your field.
- Consecutive attendance: To take the programs consecutively, you must apply for the Fellowship when you apply for the three-month Mentorship. You would apply on July 1st of the year prior to attendance. Your application will be reviewed for attendance in the Winter (January – April) Mentorship and Fellowship (May – October) of the same year.
- Split attendance: If you choose to take a break between the Mentorship and the Advanced Fellowship, you must complete the Advanced Fellowship within three (3) years of the Mentorship in order to meet APTA requirements. Many individuals do not make a decision to attend the 6-month Fellowship until after they have finished the Mentorship.
